Was ist die Strenge Benutzerauthentifizierung?
Strenge Benutzerauthentifizierung (SBA) ist eine gesetzliche Vorschrift von PSD2 für Zahlungsdienstleister innerhalb der EWR. Die Vorschrift gewährleistet, dass elektronische Zahlungen mit Multi-Faktor-Authentifizierung ausgeführt werden, um die Sicherheit dieser elektronischen Zahlungen zu erhöhen.
Was bedeutet dies für Sie?
Wir haben Veränderungen auf Ebury Online (EBO) vorgenommen, sodass die 2-Faktor-Authentifizierung (2FA) beim Einloggen sowie beim Erstellen einer Zahlungsanweisung verpflichtend ist.
Veränderungen beim Login auf Ebury Online
Beim Einloggen auf EBO, haben Sie die Möglichkeit zwischen einer Authentifizierung via SMS auf Ihre Mobilfunknummer und einer Authentifizierungs-App (z.B. Google Authenticator, Authy) auszuwählen. Bei Ihrer nächsten Anmeldung, werden Sie aufgefordert eines der beiden 2-Faktor-Authentifizierungsmethoden auszuwählen, um auf Ihr Konto zugreifen zu können. Bei der Anmeldung auf EBO benötigen Sie einen 2-Faktor-Authentifizierungs-Code, welchen Sie via SMS oder per authentifizierungs App erhalten. Nach erfolgreichem Anmelden auf Ebury Online mit der 2-Faktor-Authentifizierung, haben Sie die Möglichkeit Ihren Zugang mit dem erhaltenen Code für 30 Tage zu speichern. Erst nach Ablauf der 30 Tagen werden Sie gebeten einen neuen Code einzugeben.
Veränderungen bei Zahlungen auf Ebury Online
Beim Erstellen einer Zahlung auf EBO, werden Sie direkt aufgefordert die 2-Faktor-Authentifizierung einzurichten. Falls Sie sich bereits für die Authentifizierung per SMS zum Anmelden auf EBO entschieden haben, benötigen Sie keine weitere Aktivierung der Authentifizierung für Zahlungen. Ebury wird die bereits im System hinterlegte Mobilfunknummer für Ihre Anmeldung auch für die Zahlungen verwenden.
Nach der Übermittlung der Zahlungsanweisung, werden Sie einen 2FA-Code via SMS erhalten, welcher verschlüsselte Information Ihrer Zahlung enthält. Dieser Code ist ein einmaliger Code, welcher ausschließlich für diese Zahlung generiert wurde. Dies verbessert die Sicherheit erheblich, da Betrüger nur schwer einen gültigen 2FA-Code replizieren können.
